Fallen-asleep-while-watching-movies syndrome

Yeah! I just discovered a syndrome. And, that's the name:
fallen-asleep-while-watching-movies syndrome
 Hah! Sounds nice, right? =p

What is fallen-asleep-while-watching-movies syndrome?
From its name itself, it is self-explanatory.

How is it happens?
While watching the movies, during the exposition, he/she fall asleep. The most crucial condition is when the light is switched off. However, it still occurs although the lighting is on.

To whom this happens?
Anyone who is watching movies regardless of ages, gender, races.

Why this syndrome happens?
Can't be identified. Still under investigations. Maybe, *yup. As what I said, it is still under investigation*, the moviegoers are sleepy, lighting factor, the storyline is not so good, or he/she considers exposition of the movie can be skipped! =p But *yeah. there's still BUT, peeps!*, he/she wake up in the middle of the movie to ensure he/she can catch up the story line and can consider himself/herself has watched the movie!

How it can be cured?
Still under investigation too. Maybe *again*, the moviegoers need a companion to talk with. What I mean is, the companion he/she has while watching it together should talk with him/her every time. Why? To make sure he/she not fallen asleep!

That's all for my current experiment! Wanna continue the research. =p Owh ya! Below are my specimen who has experienced this syndrome. Identity is being keep secret.

A first movie which she had experienced this syndrome - Merong Mahawangsa. She slept during the exposition - during the fighting between Merong Mahawangsa and  Garuda's pirates.. She felt that the fighting-fighting scene was not suitable for her! Because the pirates were so sexy. Her friend told her so. =p And, not forget, she watched this movie with no lighting at all.

Pirates of the Carribean on Stranger Tides. Owh. She was so tired on that day. Since she watched this movie around 11 pm *the time for her to sleep* , she felt asleep during the exposition too - when Jack Sparrow was at somewhere under the ground, having conversations with people there. She can't understand anymore what they're conversed about! All after all, she woke up at a part when Sparrow.... *owh. forgot! but she watch it till the end and still can argue with her friends the ending should not be like that! =p*

Senjakala. A first movie which she didn't fall asleep at all! Why? It is because while she is watching this movie with her friend, she is doing the MyLine! Hahahhaa. And, her companion at that time talk a lot with her because she *her friend* forced her to fully-watch the movie and left behind the MyLine for a while! Hahahaha.

Hum Tum. Owh. She has left the Hindustan movie a long time agooo.... But, since her friends like so much the Hindustan movies, it's like she doesn't want to left behind! So, today, she has a try and watched Hum Tum at her home with her siblings. And, as usual, the syndrome has been in her blood, she fell asleep during Karan was trying his best to tackle a girl, Prea. At last, her 10-year old sister watched the movie till the end and she watched back when Karan tried to propose Prea! Hahaha.

Okay. Now, can you recognise who is all shes mention above? hahaha. *blushing*

It's not easy to be in the production crew !

Good evening, awesome peeps! :)

Yeah. As I've told before, I am in short semester now.

So, in the ELSP, we had been assigned to shoot a folklore-story.

As the traditional way, we need to build up the production crew itself first. To assign a director is easy for us. But for the director himself, it is a burden or maybe, other way around, he likes the task because he enjoys doing it. Who knows?

Em. Frankly speaking, to be in the script writing board is not easy or other word, challenging! Anyway, human love challenges, right? ;)

The plot, actors, location and the vital one, script had been put us in a burden. Even it looks like 'petik jari je, keluar la idea'. Owh.. No3, please correct the statement! We need to brainstorm it together.

And, one more I learnt here, cooperation is the keyword for everything. As we all know, sometimes our idea maybe not so interesting to put it into. But, the brainstorming activity has brought out all ideas from each all of us to give such an interesting plot of story! And, it took three hours to discuss this!

Luckily, the duration of the story takes about 15-20 minutes. If it takes 2 hours, maybe, the meeting will be 24 hours! haha. melampau la tu kan? Kalah AGM! hehe

Okay, after the storyline had been completed, we had segregated the duty among each other to write the script. So, from this task, we need to get vivid, clear idea of the whole plot - from the beginning, climax, till the ending. If not, it would not be tallied each other.

Hopefully, our, Group 44's story is different and unique from others story! hehe.

That's all for today's update. Good night!

P/s: 1. Em. Can you imagine how KRU Production and others brainstorming theirs to get the idea? hah! Berjam2 la meeting!
2. Anyway, what is our production name actually? 44 Underground Production?

Make each day your masterpiece

Yeah3! Make each day your masterpiece! ;)

Okay2. Lecture gonna start. Bye!

Special poem for my dear.. :)

I was alone and all was dark,
Beneath me & above, time slots were hard
My life was full of Debit & Credits
I slogged to derive the Profit of Love.
But now you are with me
And my heart is overjoyed
You turned the Trial Balance of my heart
Into a final Balance Sheet.
You load entries to my life's oracle on a day-to-day basis,
My life, which was a Suspense Account
Now seems aligning into a smooth Cash Flow .
I love the way you tally things,
The unbalanced Trial Balance of life, only you can tally
The schedules of my life, which you prepare
Are so self-explanatory, no more JV's required.
I cannot survive without U,
You are my Working Capital
You are the Asset of my life, without any corresponding liability
Even an accountant wonders How and Why??
Your smiles that are the dumped credit entries in the month
Invokes the Cash box to reduce
For which there is no provision but,
I know you do the same to tally my Financial Statements

Salam and hi peeps! ;)

Long time no update here..
Now, I'm in short 'shot' semester.
Subjects that are currently studying are Aqidah Islamiah and Fiqh Ibadat & Munakahat. All in Arabic.
Yet, these subjects are kind of revising all the things I have studied long times ago. I hope that I can catch 'em all.

And, not forget, even we're in 'shot' semester,
there are still ELSP & ALSP 3 - continuation from previous, also the last slot for 1st year. No more after this.. hehe
Okay. Frankly speaking, ELSP & ALSP 1, 2, and 3 (hope so) already gave and gives me a lot of fond memories. :) * even da kena gotcha on the first day of ELSP 3 =.=' and group for ELSP 1-3, ALSP 2-3 semua best2! *

Uish. Okay2. Please stop the crap!
Now I want to jot down something about the poem above.
I'm missing you my dear, Accounting!
No accounting subjects in short semester,
no calculation for about 3-4 months.
Only then, I just can meet you again on September for 3rd semester.
Hope so! :)
Take care..

P/s: 1. Past is experience. Present is experiment. Future is expectation.
Use your experience in your experiment to achieve your expectation.
2. Now, I'm posting this from deep of my heart. ;)

Teasing your brain ~

These 'bugs' seem to be moving, but this is actually a static image. Note that whenever you focus on a particular 'bug,' it seems to stop moving.

This image by Shigeo Fukuda is a lovely essay in balance and contrast. Where do you think one set of legs ends, and the other begins?

This image shows the brain's tendency to "fill in" negative space with shapes. Do you see a series of white circles between the black crosses? In reality, they don't exist.

Try moving your mouse pointer down across this image, following the pointer closely with your eyes. You should see a rippling effect moving through the picture -- even though it's a completely static image!

P/s: 1. Yeah. Since I woke up so early this morning, I give my brain these games to play with. NICEEEE!!!! :)

2. I found these when walked around at YAHOO! after signed out from my email account.

Lack of sleep :(

Hye readers....

Long time no see.. hehe

Anyway, for this post, I just copy-and-paste an article from a link.

Yup. Kinda make a research why this sudden, culture shock happened to me..

Read ya. Who knows, you experienced the same with me since MAY is EXAM month. Yup. MAY is very synonym with EXAM since I was in primary school. Erkh.

Insomnia

Insomnia is difficulty getting to sleep or staying asleep, or having nonrefreshing sleep for at least 1 month. (okay. This is my case. I think 1 month already)

Causes, incidence, and risk factors

Primary insomnia refers to insomnia that is not caused by any known physical or mental condition.
Insomnia is caused by many different things. The most common causes of insomnia are:
  • Alcohol
  • Anxiety (because tomorrow is the day of exam )
  • Coffee
  • Stress (I'm just so cool. my friend said.. They don't see my nervousness. Argh. I just want to calm myself)
Secondary insomnia is caused by a medical condition. Depression is a very common cause of secondary insomnia. Often, insomnia is the symptom that causes people with depression to seek medical help.

Symptoms

  • Difficulty falling asleep on most nights. (maybe. sometimes I need to listen to a kind of lullaby before sleep. Then, when I wake up in the morning, the music is still playing on the hp..)
  • Feeling tired during the day or falling asleep during the day (yup.. kind of too~ penat berfikir since an exam's period took about 2 to 3 hours per day)
  • Not feeling refreshed when you wake up
  • Waking up several times during sleep (argh.. yg ni paling benci!! dala sy ni jenis tidur xberapa cukup lena for first 20mins. Then, nanti ada la yang datang bilik buat bising or mintak topup. hesy. kacau line!!)
People who have primary insomnia tend to keep thinking about getting enough sleep. The more they try to sleep, the greater their sense of frustration and distress, and the more difficult sleep becomes.

Signs and tests

Your health care provider will do a physical exam and ask you questions about your current medications, drug use, and medical history. Usually, these are the only methods needed to diagnose insomnia.
Polysomnography, an overnight sleep study, can help rule out other types of sleep disorders (such as sleep apnea).

Treatment

The following tips can help improve sleep. This is called sleep hygiene.
  • Avoid caffeine, alcohol, or nicotine before bed. (okay. I never drink all of these)
  • Don't take daytime naps. (sometimes I tried. sbb da ngantok la..)
  • Eat at regular times each day (avoid large meals near bedtime).
  • Exercise at least 2 hours before going to bed.
  • Go to bed at the same time every night. (ha... of course. switch off the lamp at 12am. but, when there are no exam on the next day, I sleep at 1 or 2am)
  • Keep comfortable sleeping conditions. (my room at my house is the comfortable one!!!)
  • Remove the anxiety that comes with trying to sleep by reassuring yourself that you will sleep or by distracting yourself.
  • Use the bed only for sleep and sex.
Do something relaxing just before bedtime (such as reading or taking a bath) so that you don't dwell on worrisome issues. Watching TV or using a computer may be stimulating to some people and interfere with their ability to fall asleep. (yup. sometimes I read novel or notes...owh. maybe because I read the notes, I can't sleep well)
If you can't fall asleep within 30 minutes, get up and move to another room. Engage in a quiet activity until you feel sleepy.
One method of preventing worries from keeping you awake is to keep a journal before going to bed. List all issues that worry you. By this method, you transfer your worries from your thoughts to paper. This leaves your mind quieter and more ready to sleep.
If you follow these recommendations and still have insomnia, your doctor may prescribe medications such as benzodiazepines.

Expectations (prognosis)

You should be able to sleep if you practice good sleep hygiene. See a doctor if you have chronic insomnia that does not improve.
It is important to remember that your health is not at risk if you do not get 6 - 8 hours of sleep every day. Different people have different sleep requirements. Some do fine on 4 hours of sleep a night, while others only thrive if they get 10 - 11 hours.
Sleep requirements also change with age. Listen to your body's sleep signals and don't try to sleep more or less than is refreshing for you.
*************************************************************
Okay. sekian.

P/s: 1. aaaaa.. should I see a doctor? we will see after a week of exam. maybe I will recover from this disastrous phenomenon... erkh.
2.I hate this situation la u know! Like now, even I am sleepy, but still rajin nak post ni juga..
3. okay2. nak sleep la ni.
4. wait2. 1 more, during first 20 mins of my sleep, once or twice, I have a nightmare like what I had posted before. So, maybe this is one of the reason?
5. okay2. fine. nak sleep. bye. malam.
6. sorry again. kalau ayat berterabur. ayat mengantuksss...
