Ramadan dulu dan sekarang..

Salam..

Ehem3. :)

Malam ni da Ramadan ke-3. Alhamdulillah. 4, 5, 6. InshaAllah..

Saja nak kongsi Ramadan saya dulu dan sekarang.

Dulu = sekolah rendah, form 1-2

Sekarang = start from 3-sekarang ( 20 tahun )

DULU
1. Balik sekolah, buka peti sejuk dan makan curi2! hehe. Ye la.. Masa darjah satu dulu (1998), puasa kat sekolah okay. Bulan Januari atau Februari macam tu. Dala pertama kali puasa.. Lepas tu, bila mama ada kat atas (masa tu tinggal kat Kajang), mama tanya, "buat apa buka fridge tu?". saya pun jawab la, "nak tengok lauk apa je buka puasa nantiii...~" *uish. jangan tiru aksi ini di rumah!*

2. Selalu sangat pergi bazaar Ramadan. Beli macam2! Sampai penuh meja. Lepas tu, bukannya habis semua pun. Bajet nak simpan untuk makan lepas terawih pulak! hehe. Bila da kenyang, almaklumlah, lambat solat maghrib! Malas2. Perut da penuh. Ish3.

3. Malas nak tewarih! eh. Terawih. Hehe. Em. Macam biasalah, imam tu baca surah panjang sangat. Sakit kaki tau nak berdiri lama2. Tergoyang2. Bukannya khusyuk pun.. (darjah 5-6, form 1-2 *sy sangat nakal dulu!). hoho. So, saya geng dengan adik saya yang selang 2 tahun ni, kami lepak2 dulu masa imam baca surah panjang, bila nak dengar imam tu nak slowkan bacaan untuk rukuk, kami cepat2 bangun, takbiratul ihram! hehe. sangat nakal kan?! LOL :p

4. Sangat liat nak bangun sahur! Hoho. Sebelum tu, mama kejut dan turun jela bawah. Tapi sambung tidur balik kat ruang tamu! Peh. hampeh je~ haha. Yang tolong sediakan makanan masa tu, kakak jela. Kami masih kecil.

2. Da jarang pergi bazaar Ramadan. Chef2 da banyak kat rumah ni. Semua rajin nak memasak! *yeah! tepuk bahu anda!* Lepas tu, da pandai bajet makanan untuk dihidang. Tak lebih, tak kurang..

3. Suka berterawih. Follow imam dari mula, niat. Boleh terima dengan surah panjang. Sambil tu boleh hayati makna. Insya-Allah.. :)

4. Bangun sahur bukan lagi masalah! hehe. Bangun sahur, Alhamdulillah, senang je. Tak payah kena kejut banyak kali. Sebab da ada alarm hp sendiri, lagu sendiri. Tak guna da alarm clock yang bunyi dia sangat menyakitkan telinga tu! Rasa nak tidur lagi adalah, sebab jam memekak kan.. keh3. Dan, dapur ialah tempat bermain, tempat selamat kami sekarang! yeah~ Sahur pun tak makan banyak. Cukup sekadar isi perut..

5. Lepas sahur, baca Quran, tunggu sampai subuh. Alhamdulillah. Segar. Tak tidur da~

Okay. InsyaAllah..

P/s: Macam mana Ramadan anda dulu dan sekarang?

Preparation Guide for Ramadhan

Second holiest site in Islam
Salam.

Tonight is already 12 Sha'aban, and Ramadhan just around the corner. I want to share with you a doa. Let's recite together! :)

O Allah, please bless us in Rejab and Sha'aban and delivered us to Ramadhan

Here, I just want to share with you A Quick Preparation Guide For Ramadhan. Yup. I already posted this last Ramadhan [here]. But, just for a kind of reminder, why not I posted again for this coming Ramadhan? InshaAllah. :)

What to do?

1. Start reading Quran daily.
2. Spend some time listening to recitations from the Quran.
3. Train yourself to wake up early for Salat al-Fajr.
4. Keep yourself in a state of Wudu' (Ablution) most of the time.
5. Evaluate yourself daily before going to bed.
6. Thank Allah for good deeds, and repent to Him for your mistakes and sins.
7. Start giving Sadaqah daily and make it as a habit.
8. Find time to pray extras, such as Nafals andTahajjud prayers.
9. Spend more time reading Islamic books especially the Quran, Hadith and Fiqh.
10. Find time to help others with your wisdom, knowledge and other talents.
11. Try to write articles on Islam for Muslims as well as for non-Muslims.
12. Associate with Muslim scholars or ulama and other pious people so, you may learn from them.
13. Train yourself to do good, render free service to others to seek the pleasure of Allah.

What to avoid ?

1. Avoid or reduce watching TV.
2. Avoid looking at unlawful pictures.
3. Spend free time in mosque or Islamic organizations and make that as a daily habit.
4. If you smoke, try to reduce daily usage and cut it down for good.
5. If you have friends who do not practice the teachings of Islam, try to avoid socializing with them.
6. If you travel a lot on business, try to do more local business so you can be closer to your family and community.

" Time is not money or gold; it is life itself and is limited . You must begin to appreciate every moment of your life and always strive to make the best use of it. "

A Quick Checklist :

1. Make a resolve to win the maximum favor of Allah by performing extra Voluntary prayers (Nawafils), making frequent Dua and increased remembrance (Dhikr).
2. Try to recite some Holy Quran after every Prayer.
3. Study the Tafseer (commentary) .
4. Invite a person you are not very close with or your relatives to your home for Iftaar.
5. Bring life to your family! Everyday, try to conclude the fast with your family and spend some quality time together to understand each other better.
6. Give gifts on Eid to at least 5 people: 2 to your family members, 2 to your good friends, and 1 to a person whom you love purely for the sake of Allah. This is in addition to normal 'Iddiya' to children.
7. Where applicable, make commitment to join Islamic study circles to learn more about Islam and improve your own life.
8. Donate generously to the mosque, Islamic organizations and any where people are in need or oppressed.
9. Share month of Ramadan and its teachings of peace and patience with your colleagues at work, neighbors and relatives.
10. Sleep little, eat little! Make sure you do not defeat the purpose of fasting by over-indulging in food and being lazy.
11. Seek the rare and oft-neglected rewards of the night better than 1000 months ( Laylatul-Qadr ).
12. Weep in private for the forgiveness of your sins.
13. Learn to control your tongue and lower your gaze.
14. Encourage others to enjoin and love goodness, and to abandon everything that Allah dislikes. Play the role of a Da'ee (one who invites to Allah) with zeal, passion, and sympathy.
15. Experience the joy of Tahajjud prayers late at night and devote yourself purely and fully to Allah in the Itikaf retreat during Ramadan.
16. For extra concerted effort, try to be off work for few last days of Ramadhan for maximum Ibada.
17. Make an effort to reconcile with the people you are not on good terms with. Forgive everyone and keep your heart clean.
18. In all your dhikr, do not forget your parents, your neighbors', relatives, dead people and other muslims.

That's all! May Allah bless us! :)

Cabaran Ramadhan

Salam..

Ramadhan kali ni aku sedikit tercabar...

1. Mana tak nya, solat terawih tahun ni macam tak semeriah tahun2 sebelum ni..
Degree kali ni, ada kelas malam, so, solat sendiri2 je bila balik rumah. mana meriah solat sorang2.. huhu. kadang2, kalau penat sangat ponteng terawih.. *erk! dala masa demam 2 mgu lepas, aku da ponteng terawih 3 hari...*

2. Tadarus Ramadhan kali ni, aku xsampai lagi target macam yang selalu aku tetapkan; 1 juzu' 1 Ramadhan.. baru juzu' 5 ni.. nak terkejar2 lagi.. tapi, xsalah kan kalau kita tak ada kesempatan nak baca, kita boleh dengar je bacaan dari orang lain.. dapat pahala juga..

3. lepas tu, kali ni, aku jarang dapat qiam.. tidur kepenatan, da set alarm nak bangun awal, tapi, snooze punya snooze alarm, bangun pukul 5 jgak..

P/s: 1. Aku takut tak sempat nak ramadhan tahun depan.. =(

2. semalam aku ponteng terawih. Asma saje nak mencuakkan diri aku dengan kata2nya "mana tau ko xsempat nak ramdhan tahun depan. tbe2 tidur xbangun2!" argh.. sabar j la..

3. aku da buang tabiat lama, berbuka dengan sikit je. xpenuh meja dengan makanan.. semua tu nafsu ok.. lagipun, aku ni jenis xmakan banyak. nasi separuh je.. =)

4. selamat beramal di bulan promosi mendapat pahala!

5. last2.. hehe, mood aku hari ni: gembira dalam sedih. Muna quoted " kita rancang dengan penuh cita tapi rupanya Allah dah rancang dengan penuh cintaNya.."

kurma, dates, tamar

Ketika mahu berbuka puasa di bulan Ramadhan..

"korang, makan la kurma ni," jemput penulis..

"erk? kurma. ala. xboleh masuk la," kata kawan 1.

"sekali tengok je macam lipas!" kata kawan 2.

Ya Allah. banyak pula alasannye. kurma tu kan makanan sunnah Nabi S.A.W.. banyak pula khasiatnya..

sedap pula tu, bukannye selalu dapat jumpa. nyum3. i like dates especially rotab one.. *kurma basah*.

3. korang minat kurma tak? kurma yang mana 1? basah atau kering? share with me!
